The Institute for Spirituality and Healthcare is a non-profit research program dedicated to conducting evidence-based research on the health benefits of augmenting modern healthcare with Spiritually-Based Practices and Interventions to deliver improved health outcomes and satisfaction.
The Institute for Spirituality and Healthcare limits the scope of its research to exploring and documenting the health benefits of Spiritually-Based care and interventions under the oversight of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Disciples Seminary Princeton (DSP).
The DSP IRB ensures that all research adheres to three principles of ethics: (1) respect for persons; (2) beneficence (to do no harm, and to maximize benefit); and, (3) justice.
